NORTHWEST Fl. ServisFirst Bank, a subsidiary of ServisFirst Bancshares (NYSE:SFBS), is pleased to announce the addition of Susan S. Thompson, Founding and Managing Member of Smith, Thompson, Shaw, Colón & Power, P.A., to the ServisFirst Bank Northwest Florida Advisory Board, effective February 2026.

Thompson is the founding and managing member of Smith, Thompson, Shaw, Colón & Power, P.A., a Tallahassee-based real estate law firm that conducts thousands of real estate transactions annually. She co-founded the firm in 1987 alongside her brother, Crit Smith, and has built a reputation for excellence in real estate law throughout the region.

Born in Tallahassee and raised in Perry, Florida, Thompson is an honors graduate of the University of Florida, earning a degree in Finance. She also received her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During her time at the University of Florida, she made history as the first female officer of Florida Blue Key Leadership Honorary. Thompson is admitted to practice law in the state of Florida and the state of Georgia, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

She has been actively involved in numerous community and professional organizations, previously serving as Chairperson of the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Board of Directors. She has also served on the Boards of Directors for Southeast Community Health Services, Inc., Tallahassee Memorial Health Ventures, Inc., the Community Foundation of North Florida, and the Economic Development Council. Thompson is currently General Counsel for the Tallahassee Board of Realtors, is a Past President of the Tallahassee Lenders’ Consortium, and has previously served on the Truist Bank Advisory Board.
