Coastal Vision 3000

A coordinated effort of businesses and organizations representing hospitality, real estate, tourism and economic development interests in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Bay, Gulf and Franklin counties. Seeks to create a regional identity to increase national and international awareness and attract better airline service. The identity is “THE Beach,” which encompasses 227 miles of coastline.

Vision 2020 Funds

Regional venture capital fund launched to identify and support profitable enterprises that will drive technological innovations and enable new business in North Florida. Its vision is to by 2020 have research assets to compete with America’s top technology hubs for business, capital and talent.

Opportunity Florida

An eight-county regional economic development alliance focused on strengthening businesses within Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Liberty and Washington counties.

West Florida Regional Planning

Collects, analyzes and distributes economic data for clients seeking expert economic advice about Northwest Florida.

Our Region Tomorrow

Spearheaded by the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, this regional visioning effort will encourage cooperation among the public and private sectors of North Florida and South Georgia. The group will look at issues dealing with growth, quality health care, education, economic development and protection of the environment.
