Outpatient Rehab Now in Apalachicola

Sacred Heart Health System announces that it is opening a new outpatient rehabilitation clinic this month in the Riverwalk Building, located at 76 Market St., Suite D.

The office will provide outpatient physical, occupation and speech therapy beginning June 4. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. A grand opening is slated for June 12 from 9 a.m. to noon and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

“The addition of outpatient rehabilitation services in Apalachicola builds on our commitment to provide high-quality, compassionate healthcare for the residents and visitors of Gulf and Franklin counties,” said Roger Hall, president of Sacred Heart Hospital on the Gulf. “The community’s support of Sacred Heart makes the continued expansion of services possible.”

Initially, the clinic will be staffed with two long-time physical therapists, Dr. Joe Santiesteban, who lives in Apalachicola and has been the outpatient rehabilitation manager at Sacred Heart since January 2011, and physical therapist Anne Kenny.
