Who influenced your journey to success?

My parents have supported me throughout my journey. Since I was a child, they were committed to ensuring that I was equipped for life. They’ve taught me the importance of perseverance, empathy, and always doing my best. I’m incredibly grateful for their example.

What motivates you?

Empowering and helping others. It’s incredibly rewarding to work in my hometown and communicate resources and services that impact my family, friends, and community, as every positive response I get reminds me.

How do you hope to make an impact within your community?

I really love my hometown, and it’s an honor to work for my community in this way. I hope to continue to make an impact by ensuring that every member of the community is informed. There are so many positive things happening in Leon County, and I want to help highlight and amplify those efforts, so residents feel connected.

What advice would you give to young people/entrepreneurs with a similar trajectory to yours?

Stay curious, be adaptable, and embrace the journey, even when it gets challenging. Also, be patient with yourself.

What would you go back and tell newly 20-year-old you?

I’d tell my 20-year-old self that your gifts will make room for you. Just trust the process. Early on, I felt pressured to have everything figured out, but it will all work out. Continue to stay committed to learning and growing. I’d also tell myself to network more and not be afraid to reach out to others in the field. Many of the valuable connections I’ve made came from people I was hesitant to approach at first.
