Effective PowerPoint Presentations

PowerPoint can be a highly effective tool for conveying messages and information, but many presenters don’t use it to its full potential.

The Studer Community Institute, in an upcoming workshop, will teach business professionals how to successfully use PowerPoint to communicate their ideas to an audience with clarity and impact. The workshop also will address the use of audio and video in presentations, and the use of alternative presentation formats such as Keynote and Prezi in engaging people.

The workshop, scheduled for 9 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, will build on previous trainings from the institute that emphasized public speaking and other essential presentation skills. “Effective PowerPoint Presentations — Taking Your Slide Deck From Sad To Sizzle,” will be held at the Pensacola Little Theatre.

Helping businesses strengthen their operations through training is a pivotal focus for the Institute, which strives to improve the quality of life for everyone in the Pensacola metro area. This year alone, the Institute has helped 1,400 people learn how to improve their business and leadership skills.
