Known as one of the largest festivals in Jackson County, the 39th Annual Sunland Fall Festival will be held Saturday, October 28 at the beautiful Sunland Center Environmental Park. Sunland is located on Highway 71 north of Marianna, Florida in the Panhandle. The event begins with a 9:00 a.m. CST opening parade. Festival-goers will be delighted to find a wide array of family friendly activities to include live entertainment, art & craft vendors, and multitude of children’s activities and food galore. Folks from surrounding communities flock to the festival catch musical acts, shop with local artisans and feast on BBQ, smoked turkey legs, funnel cakes and other tasty festival fare.
For those looking to enjoy a slower paced, laid-back Fall Day you’ll want to make plans to stop by to watch the age-old art of cane grinding and syrup making. There is definitely something for everyone one, young and young at heart, at the Sunland Fall Festival!
